definitely see definitely, maybe

okay, so i am back and i most definitely, not maybe, recommend 'definitely, maybe'. as a close follower of the '92 election, i especially appreciated ryan reynolds' character. In the film, he explains to his hilarious daughter (girl from little miss sunshine) the story of his past loves while weaving it through the political career of Bill Clinton. The storytelling reminded me a little of Rob Gordon in High Fidelity but Reynolds' character ran much deeper.
I wasn't even aware of what a superstar this Ryan Reynolds was until recently. i have to admit i have not seen him in anything at all with the exception of the show 'fifteen' on nickelodeon. this show hasn't been on since before i was fifteen. It is impossible though to forget reynolds teenage performance of the lame younger brother of the Ashley (who later had brief stint on 'dead like me'. a show i recommend too.) are you following? hope so.
okay so back to the film, it is an adorable comedy that reminded me of 'High Fidelity' and 'Princess Bride', only it involves politics, too. This movie was made for me.

Go see, go see.

well, since my dear, sweet jonah boy goes to bed at a decent hour, and now that i have my attention span back, i have been a more observant consumer of film. I will try to update this with each film i see.

My brother Brian recommended this to me. I almost always trust his taste in movies, not his taste in music so much. I am trying to pressure him to join this blog since I trust his taste.
